Social Housing / concept

The proposal approaches housing as a social good, structured around three spatial conditions: private, public and shared. Rather than treating each dwelling as an isolated unit, the project creates a gradual transition between individual and collective life.

The complex is conceived as a rhythmic sequence of solid volumes and voids. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces occupy the solid elements, while entrances, kitchens, dining areas and terraces form the lighter, intermediate zones. The kitchen and dining table become the heart of everyday life, directly connecting the interior with the covered terrace.

The repetition of the housing units creates a porous building mass that responds to the scale of the surrounding residential context. South-facing openings, shaded terraces, limited western exposure and openings on different façades support controlled daylight, passive solar performance and natural ventilation.

Through the continuous relationship between solid and void, heavy and light, private and collective, the proposal combines social interaction, environmental performance and domestic privacy within a coherent architectural system.
